Set yourself back in time when the rivers were flowing down the mountains into the Issyk-Kul lake. The newly discovered Canyon of Forgotten Rivers is made up of multiple dried up streams that used to be filled up with water. The shape of the rills captured in time is visible in the carved valleys spreading across an area the size of Paris.
The main river canyon penetrates the middle of the valley and is wide enough to be explored by car. Multiple smaller dried up streams branch out in every direction. From the backdrop of the snowy mountains to the turquoise waters of the Issyk-Kul lake, the Canyon of Forgotten Rivers offers multiple opportunities for the outdoor adventurer.
P.S. This new canyon was found by our team during our cooperation with landscape photographer Albert Dros and CNN Travel. If anyone interested to visit this canyon then please contact us to our e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
