From May 1, PCR test or vaccination certificate will not be required when entering the Kyrgyz Republic



From May 1, a PCR test or a vaccination certificate will no longer be required when entering Kyrgyzstan. This is reported by the Headquarters of the Kyrgyz Republic on COVID-19. 
For citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and foreign citizens crossing the state border of the republic from May 1, 2022, the mandatory presence of a negative result of a PCR test or a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 was canceled. This decision was made at a meeting of the operational headquarters for combating coronavirus infection of the Kyrgyz Republic. 
 The meeting was held by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baysalov. Reports were heard on the epidemiological situation of coronavirus infection in the republic as of today and on the progress of vaccination of the population against coronavirus infection.The presidential plenipotentiaries in the regions were instructed, together with the Ministry of Health, to continue the campaign to vaccinate the population against coronavirus infection with expanding coverage, increasing the pace and focusing on vulnerable groups of the population.
